Product Warranty

Hardwood Lumber Shop manufactures high-quality wood products with very strict quality control. Hardwood Lumber Shop (HLS) warrants our custom-made wood products with a limited warranty for six months from date of final invoice.

Our products are warrantied against significant glue joint separation and warping.

HLM reserves the right to reject any claim.
Finished wood components must be installed within one week of leaving Hardwood Lumber and Millwork. Products installed in any outdoor or commercial application are not included in this warranty.

Wood products sold as unfinished are not eligible for warranty coverage beyond the glue joints. (See above.)
HLS does not offer warranty of third-party products.
Minor conditions such as stains, checking, shallow warping, and water spots are a function of normal use and proper care and maintenance. Deviation from the techniques of the Care & Maintenance Guide will void this warranty.
This warranty does not cover improper use or abuse including, but is not limited to damage from mishandling; damage from excessive heat, steam, or moisture; wood movement or warping; exposure to weather conditions; physical or chemical abuse and damage from improper care and maintenance; scratches, dings or any chemical damage; any failures due to inadequate support for the installation; the altering of any finish applied by HLM; staining; products that have not been paid in full.
This warranty does not cover product installed with known or visible manufacturing defects at time of installation, including but not limited to color variance or flatness deviation beyond reasonable expectations.
Defective product must be returned to Hardwood Lumber and Millwork for repair or replacement at our discretion. S&H and/or removal/installation fees resulting from warranty issues are the responsibility of the product owner.
Any replacement product must be shipped to the original destination.
Any replacement product will made to the original, approved order specs. Design changes such as, but not limited to, shape, construction style, edge profile, finish etc. will not be accepted.
